Dr. Chang is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over 20 years of experience in the management and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions, from sports injuries to life-threatening emergencies like heart attacks. His clinical interests include sports/performance medicine, wellness and addiction medicine, driven by his dedication to helping individuals lead healthier, happier lives.
In addition to his medical expertise, Dr. Chang brings a wealth of business knowledge to the practice of medicine. He has played a key role in the start-up and management of several free-standing emergency departments a medical billing company in Texas, combining his clinical skills with strategic leadership. Dr. Chang also had been the team physician for the Houston Texans and Rockets for over 10 years.
Dr. Chang earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University and his Doctor of Medicine from UCSF School of Medicine. He completed a General Surgery Internship at UT-Houston and went on to finish his Emergency Medicine Residency at Vanderbilt University.
