Director of Business Development
Mr. Barnett has served as Director of Business Development at Nutex Health Inc. since April 2022. In this role, he is responsible for strategic growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and business development activities supporting Nutex’s long‑term expansion.
Previously, Mr. Barnett served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development of Accountable Healthcare America (“AHA”) since its inception and continued in that capacity with Clinigence Holdings following the merger of AHA and Clinigence in 2021.
Throughout his career, Mr. Barnett has been extensively engaged in multiple segments of the healthcare industry. He founded and served as Vice President of Corporate Development of Dental Partners, Inc., a dental practice management company, where he established a $15 million bank line of credit, completed $30 million in dental practice acquisitions, and ultimately led the sale of the company.
At Trident, a physician practice management company, Mr. Barnett assisted in raising over $20 million through a private placement and supported more than $60 million in acquisitions. Prior to Trident, he served as Executive Vice President, Director, and Founder of Metropolitan Health Networks, Inc. (MetCare), where he was integral to capital raising, acquisition strategy, and the company’s initial public offering on NASDAQ. MetCare later acquired Continucare and was sold to Humana for approximately $850 million.
