Dr. Chang is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over 20 years of experience in the management and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions, from sports injuries to life-threatening emergencies like heart attacks. His clinical interests include wellness and addiction medicine, driven by his dedication to helping individuals lead healthier, happier lives.
In addition to his medical expertise, Dr. Chang brings a wealth of business knowledge to the practice of medicine. He has played a key role in the start-up and management of several free-standing emergency departments in Texas, combining his clinical skills with strategic leadership. Dr. Chang is also the team physician for the Houston Texans.
Dr. Chang earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University and his Doctor of Medicine from UCSF School of Medicine. He completed a General Surgery Internship at UT-Houston and went on to finish his Emergency Medicine Residency at Vanderbilt University.
